Pedestrian killed in NSW truck crash

A MAN has been fatally hit by a truck in southern NSW.

The pedestrian was stuck by the truck on the northbound lane of the Hume Highway near Albury about 6.15pm (AEST) on Tuesday.

A section of the highway at Thurgoona has been closed as a result of the crash, police say.

A crime scene has been established.
